The Indie News Fund is the UK's first match funding programme for indie news providers.
24 eligible providers were selected from all four nations to participate in the fund.
Money that they raise during Indie News Week and the rest of June will be doubled from a £50,000 pot.
This includes donations, new subscriptions and memberships, as well as profits from in-person events.
Providers were offered training on fundraising while preparing for the campaign, including practical tips and insights.
The fund was made possible by generous contributions from Struan Bartlett, the Tinsley Charitable Trust and the Cobalt Trust.
